1. Legal Relationship

• City Live is a technical platform that acts as an intermediary to connect passengers with independent third-party service providers (Captains).

• This agreement does not create an employment relationship (Employer-Employee); the Captain operates as an independent contractor.

2. Eligibility and Registration Requirements

• The Captain must be a Saudi national, in accordance with the nationalization regulations for the transport sector.

• The Captain must be at least 18 years of age.

• The Captain must possess a valid driver’s license, valid vehicle registration (Istimara), and valid insurance that covers passengers.

• The Captain is obligated to register with the Wasl platform and link their City Live account to the official regulatory system to ensure the legality of all trips.

3. Vehicle Standards

• The vehicle must meet the technical specifications approved by the General Transport Authority and City Live.

• The Captain is committed to maintaining vehicle cleanliness and performing regular maintenance to ensure passenger safety and service quality.

• City Live reserves the right to exclude any vehicle that does not adhere to the specified quality standards.

4. Professional Obligations and Conduct

• The Captain must maintain professional behavior and ethical conduct toward passengers, reflecting City Live’s friendly brand identity.

• Smoking inside the vehicle is strictly prohibited, as is engaging in political or religious discussions or misusing passenger data.

• The Captain must follow the GPS route provided within the application to ensure accurate fare calculation and trip safety.

5. Financial Terms and Commissions

• The application calculates the trip value based on algorithms considering distance, time, and service category.

• The Captain agrees to a specific commission deduction in favor of City Live from the total value of each completed trip.

• Financial settlements for electronic payments will be transferred to the Captain’s registered bank account according to the payment cycle defined by the application management.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

• The Captain is strictly prohibited from retaining passenger phone numbers or personal data or communicating with them outside the context of the trip.

• Trip data and the Captain’s location are shared with official authorities (Wasl platform) in accordance with applicable laws.

7. Termination and Suspension

• City Live reserves the right to temporarily or permanently suspend the Captain’s account in the following cases:

  • Consistently low ratings from passengers.

  • Violation of traffic laws or General Transport Authority regulations.

  • Manipulation of the discount system, promotional offers, or using fraudulent locations.

8. Governing Law

• This agreement is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
